Teak 3 Part Serving Platter

The minimalist and geometric design of this serving platter is modern as much as it is functional. Cleverly divided in 3 parts for serving, perfect for cheese, crackers and grapes at your next drinks and appetizers gathering! This gorgeous tray is hand carved out of a single piece of teak wood and comes from the Casamance region of Senegal. The artisan, Dembe Sow, is of the Laobe community who are traditional crafts people specializing in working with the wood of the Tectona Grandis tree. Each piece is lovingly and carefully carved carrying forward the heritage of his ancestors and honoring his history while sharing his passion with the world.
